The smartphone will be available in Metallic Black, Silk White, and Gold Shine

Today, South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics officially confirmed the upcoming availability of the LG G3 flagship smartphone in the country.

The handset will arrive on shelves there in two different flavors, the cheapest of them being priced at Rs. 47,990 ($797/€588) and packing 16GB of internal memory, along with 2GB of RAM.

The second variant of the smartphone sports 32GB of internal memory and 3GB of RAM and arrives on shelves with a price tag of Rs. 50,990 ($847/€625) attached to it.

However, LG has also announced that the mobile phone launches in this market with a QuickCircle case worth Rs. 3,500 ($58/€43), as well as with a one-time screen replacement worth Rs. 6,500 ($108/€80).

Moreover, as fonearena notes, those who purchase the smartphone will also receive a Rs. 5,000 ($83/€61) discount on the LG G Watch.

The South Korean vendor also plans on launching a limited edition LG G3 smartphone in India (15,000 units), one that will sport Mr. Amitabh Bachan’s signature.

Mobile phone users interested in purchasing the regular version of the smartphone will be able to choose between Metallic Black, Silk White, and Gold Shine color options, it seems.

When put up for sale in the country, the LG G3 will offer all of the features and capabilities that have already been announced for it, starting with the large 5.5-inch touchscreen display that can deliver a Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution.

The handset is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, which is paired with Adreno 330 graphics and the aforementioned amount of RAM.

Moreover, the smartphone packs a 13-megapixel camera on the back, with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), Dual LED Flash, and Laser Auto Focus, capable of recording videos in 4K resolution. LG has also included a 2.1MP camera on the front of this device.

The specs list of LG G3 also includes 4G LTE connectivity, paired with support for 3G HSPA+ networks, as well as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, and NFC capabilities. A built-in GPS receiver for navigation purposes is also included.

LG G3 is powered by a 3000mAh battery and features wireless charging capabilities. The handset measures 146.3 x 74.6 x 9.1mm and weighs 151 grams.

The smartphone runs under the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, but also arrives on shelves with a variety of exclusive applications and features coming from LG themselves, such as Smart Keyboard, Smart Notice, Knock Code, Guest Mode, and more.
