Next week, South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics should take the wraps off its next flagship Android-based smartphone, namely the LG G3, and it seems that most of the necessary info on the handset has been already unveiled.

Apparently, the company decided to hold a special preview event for the device in its homeland market, and someone has leaked all the details revealed on the phone, roughly one week before the official launch.

Of course, there still are some aspects of the smartphone that haven’t been leaked, but we already have a good idea of what LG will be including in the flagship product, courtesy of a series of slides that have emerged over at GforGames.

First and foremost, we should note that previous rumors on the device appear to be true, and that LG G3 will indeed hit the market with a 5.5-inch IPS touchscreen display capable of delivering a Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution.

Moreover, the handset will be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, which will be accompanied by 3GB of RAM, thus being capable of offering great performance levels to all users.

Additionally, those who will choose to purchase the LG G3 will take advantage of the 32GB of storage inside it, supposedly complemented by a microSD memory card slot (although this feature is not mentioned).

On the back, the flagship device should sport a 13-megapixel camera with Optical Image Stabilization, which is expected to offer 4K video recording capabilities. A 2MP front camera for making video calls should also be included.

LG G3 is also set to arrive on shelves with support for LTE and LTE-A networks, as well as with the usual Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and USB 2.0 connectivity capabilities, and with a built-in GPS receiver.

At the same time, it will be powered by a 3000mAh battery, which should be able to deliver increased usage times. The phone measures 146.3 x 74.6 x 8.9mm.

LG G3 will run under the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out of the box, though LG’s own set of customizations and exclusive features (the Optimus UI) should also be loaded on top of it.

Apparently, the mobile phone will indeed sport a laser sensor on the back to enable users to snap better photos, yet specifics on the matter have yet to be provided. The handset has also been revealed to feature a new 1W speaker to deliver better sound capabilities.

For the time being, it seems that all there is to know on LG G3 has been revealed, though it still remains to be seen what software features the South Korean vendor will pack the phone with, so stay tuned.
