On May 27, South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics is expected to make official its next Android-based flagship smartphone, in the form of LG G3, and we can now have a closer look at the device, courtesy of leaked press photos with it.

The mobile phone, long said to arrive on the market with a body that would sport a brushed finish, will be released in multiple colors, and the newly leaked press photos with it appear to confirm that.

One of the models will land on the market in a gold color flavor, something that does not come as a surprise, considering the latest trend in the industry.

Moreover, LG G3 is expected to arrive on the market in titan grey and silver colors, which somehow resembles HTC’s initial color options for the One M8.

What’s interesting about the upcoming phone, however, is the fact that it is said to actually feature a plastic body, with the brushed finish being the one that suggests it would actually be metal. According to PhoneArena, however, the phone’s case could actually be made of polycarbonate.

One way or the other, the LG G3 will certainly manage to impress a lot of people when made official later this month, especially courtesy of the hardware specifications it is rumored to feature.

The phone has been already confirmed to arrive on the market with a 5.5-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a Quad HD (2560 X 1440 pixels) resolution, but this is not the only great thing about it.

Apparently, LG will also include a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 805 processor in the phone, along with 3GB of RAM, to ensure great performance capabilities.

Moreover, the LG G3 is rumored to feature 16GB or 32GB of internal memory, paired with a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes, as well as all the usual connectivity features and sensors.

On the back, the upcoming device should include a 13-megapixel camera with Optical Image Stabilization, capable of recording videos in 4K resolution, complemented by a front camera for making video calls.

Also on the back, the new handset will sport the power and volume buttons, just as its predecessor did. However, the design of these buttons has been modified.

LG G3 should run under the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system right from the start but will also sport various customizations from LG, in the form of the popular Optimus UI, which will be slightly modified on this device, it seems.
