South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics is getting ready for the launch of a mini version of its LG G2 flagship, and some info on the device is now available.

The handset has been spotted in a User Agent Profile, and is said to arrive on shelves with the Android 4.4 KitKat platform loaded on top right from the beginning.

Moreover, it appears that LG is preparing two versions of the phone, featuring model numbers LG D618 and LG D620, at least this is what PhoneArena reports.

At the same time, the mobile phone is said to hit the market with an 8-megapixel camera on the back, capable of shooting photos at 1280 x 960, 2560 x 1920, 3200 x 1920 and 3264 x 2448 resolutions.

The rest of the handset's specifications are unknown at the moment, and it remains to be seen whether LG will launch it with much lowered capabilities, or if it will decide to keep it closer to the flagship model. Hopefully, specifics on this will emerge soon, so stay tuned for additional details.
