LG fans in India will be pleased to know that the South Korean company plans to launch the G2 in gold color. The smartphone will probably cost the same as the black version, but there's no telling when exactly it will hit shelves.

Leaked via Indian blogger @abhijeetnaohate, the gold LG G2 should be packed with the same features as the other colors that are already available for purchase in India.

This includes the same version of Android, namely 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. LG has yet to announce when exactly it will offer the highly anticipated Android 4.4 KitKat upgrade for its high-end smartphones, which is one of the reasons that customers will think twice before getting one.
