Starting today, mobile phone users in Canada can purchase the latest Android-based flagship device from LG Electronics, namely the LG G2.

The handset has landed on shelves at various wireless carriers in the country, including Rogers, Bell and TELUS, and should be released at others more soon. The phone is available priced at $199 (€145) on contract, or $699 (€500) SIM-free, MobileSyrup notes.

LG G2 was made official with a 5.2-inch full HD IPS display and with a 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor inside.

Furthermore, the smartphone packs 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, while being powered by a 3000mAh battery.

LG G2 also features a 13-megapixel camera on the back with support for full HD video recording capabilities, while also sporting a front camera for making video calls. LG launched the handset with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean loaded on top.
