14 DAY TRIAL // Major carrier T-Mobile USA has just announced that Android fans who wish to pre-order LG’s flagship smartphone, the G2, will be able to do so beginning today.
According to the official announcement, LG G2 can be pre-ordered today by “well-qualified customers for $99.99 down with 24 equal monthly device payments of $211 with T-Mobile's Simple Choice Plan.”
Keep in mind that the G2 will go on sale online on September 18 and will launch nationwide at T-Mobile retail stores and authorized retailers on September 25. The smartphone will be available in both black and white, but the latter can only be purchased online.
LG G2 will ship with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box. The phone comes equipped with a powerful 2.26 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.
The smartphone boasts a hyper-vibrant 5.2-inch True HD-IPS + LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating.
On the back, the LG G2 sports an impressive 13-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p@60fps) video recording, while in the front, there’s a secondary 2.1-megapixel camera for video calls.
Aside from the upcoming release of the G2, T-Mobile USA has confirmed that customers looking for an affordable alternative can purchase the LG Optimus F6 beginning today. Keep in mind that the handset will go on sale nationwide at T-Mobile retail stores and select dealers starting September 11.
The smartphone is available with T-Mobile’s Simple Choice Plan for $49.99 down with 24 equal monthly device payments of $101.
LG Optimus F6 is a mid-range smartphone that packs a 4.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera. It comes with LG exclusive advanced camera features and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform out of the box.
