It might be the mysterious smartwatch expected to come out at Google I/O

We already know about a fair few smartwatches that have come out or will come out this year, like Motorola Moto 360, but there is one that no one knows anything about, or so it seemed until now.

You see, it's well known that Google will show off a bunch of smartwatches at the Google I/O 2014 trade show, scheduled for June 25-26.

And since it doesn't have much in the way of its own hardware (barring few exceptions, like Google Glass), that means that most products will actually belong to other, partner companies, like Motorola as we have said above.

Until now, there was word about an unannounced Smartwatch that would debut alongside the others already spoken about.

Now, though, there is cause to believe that the “unannounced” watch will, in fact, be the LG G Watch. AndroidPit reports that much anyway.

Of course, it's equally possible that there really will be an unannounced watch at the show, and that the G Watch will just be there as well, with its 512 MB RAM, 4 GB storage space, and 280 x 280 pixels 1.65-inch display. The price should be of $200 / €200 or so when sales begin, on July 7, but that's the optimistic minimum.

Since the Motorola Moto 360 will sell for £199 / $337 / €249, LG may risk a higher tag for the G Watch as well.
