One of the smartphones that have been long rumored to arrive on shelves before the end of this year is the LG G Vista, currently said to be planned for a July release on the network of wireless carrier Verizon.

LG G Vista will be launched with model number VS880 attached to it, and appears to be a Verizon exclusive, as all of the leaks on it mentioned it as coming only to Big Red’s network.

New info coming from infamous tipster evleaks suggests that the mobile phone will be released on July 18 at Verizon, but does not reveal details on the pricing of the smartphone.

However, based on the previously leaked info on LG G Vista, we can assume that it won’t be priced high, since it is expected to hit shelves as a mid-range handset.

Last week, Verizon officially announced plans to add the LG G3 to its offering starting July 17, and it seems that its customers will actually have two new LG phones to choose from starting next week.

According to the available leaked info on LG G Vista, we should see Verizon launching it with a large, 5.7-inch touchscreen display, though it will be capable of delivering only a 720p resolution.

At the same time, the mobile phone is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 400 MSM8926 processor, most probably clocked at 1.2GHz or 1.3GHz, accompanied by 1.5GB of RAM, so as to deliver pretty decent performance capabilities.

LG G Vista is also rumored to land on the market with 8GB of internal memory, while featuring a microSD memory card slot so that users could add more storage to it.

On the back, the upcoming mobile phone will sport an 8-megapixel camera, which should provide users with full HD video recording capabilities.

At the same time, the handset is said to sport a 1.3MP front camera, a good option for making video calls while on the go, though users looking to snap great selfies with their phones might not see it as such a great feature.

No details on the phone’s connectivity capabilities have been provided as of now, but we can assume that it will offer 4G LTE capabilities, along with the usual Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functionality, and a built-in GPS receiver.

What we do know about it, however, is that it should be 9.1mm thick, and that the Android 4.4.2 KitKat might be loaded on it right from the start.

No official confirmation on the LG G Vista has been provided as of now, but Verizon should announce all of the necessary details on it in a matter of days, so stay tuned to learn more on it.
