The smartphone should become official in the not-too-distant future

One of the smartphones that mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless has been long rumored to plan on bringing to the market before the end of this year is the LG G Vista, which has emerged online in a new press render.

The new image with the smartphone has emerged online courtesy of evleaks.at and shows it (right) next to the LG G3 (left), which is also en route to the wireless carrier.

The newly leaked photo clearly proves that the carrier is getting ready for the launch of two new devices from LG, and that LG G Vista will be different from the latest flagship handset from the South Korean vendor, provided that anyone actually doubted that.

LG G Vista was previously said to be a version of the yet unannounced LG G Pro 2 Lite smartphone, and to feature model number LG-VS880.

Unfortunately, details on hardware specifications of the new mobile phone haven’t been offered as of now, yet the aforementioned leaked image shows that it would be slightly larger than the LG G3.

This means that LG G Vista will sport a screen larger than 5.5 inches, though we suspect that it won’t go up to 5.9-inch, the same as the display on LG G Pro 2 that became available for purchase in April this year did.

The screen on the forthcoming handset should boast a full HD resolution, as LG is unlikely to pack it with a Quad HD panel, the same as on LG G3, especially considering the fact that this phone is said to arrive internationally as LG G Pro 2 Lite (such phones are usually spec’d lower than the originals).

LG G Vista could also sport 1GB/2GB of RAM, 16GB/32GBof internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, and a rear camera of around 8-megapixel.

Moreover, we should see it go official with a quad-core processor inside, most probably a Snapdragon 800 one, as well as with the usual set of connectivity features and sensors inside.

However, all these are only suppositions for the time being, and chances are that the handset will actually sport much different hardware specs when made official.

One thing that appears to be certain, however, is the fact that the new LG G Vista will arrive on shelves with the same user interface as the LG G3. Most probably, it will run under the same Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system too.

Details on when the new mobile phone will go official and on the price tag that it will sport when that happens haven’t been unveiled either, though Verizon could announce it sooner rather than later. Stay tuned for more on the matter.
