One of the smartphones that South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics has been long rumored to bring to the market before the end of this year is the LG G Vista, which should make an appearance on Verizon Wireless in the United States.

Previously, the handset was said to be planned for a July 18 release, but that did not pan out, and enthusiasts were left in the dark when it came to the device’s arrival.

According to a recent report coming from Pocketnow, the smartphone is now expected to go official on Thursday, July 31.

The info comes from a leaked internal document from the wireless carrier, which also offers details on some of the device’s hardware specifications, although it does not reveal them all.

However, the leaked info does confirm that the upcoming device will arrive on the market with a 5.7-inch touchscreen display, just as it was previously leaked.

The screen will be able to deliver a qHD (960 x 540 pixels) resolution, which suggests right from the start that we’re looking at a mid-range smartphone.

The mobile phone is also said to arrive on the market with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, which could be a Snapdragon 400 chip, though no confirmation on the matter has been provided as of now.

Additionally, the smartphone is expected to be powered by a 3200mAh battery, while running under the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system right out of the box, with various exclusive features and apps coming from LG loaded on top.

Although details on its connectivity capabilities are not available, the phone is expected to come with support for Verizon’s XLTE network, while also packing the usual Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS receiver.

Unfortunately, the rest of this device’s hardware specifications remain a mystery, though we might see it released with at least an 8-megapixel camera on the back, to ensure appealing imaging capabilities.

Moreover, we should note that the already leaked images with the device suggest that it would sport the same rear-button layout as the LG G3 before it did, with the power and volume rocker placed beneath the back camera.

The price tag that this handset will feature hasn’t been revealed either, and we still don’t know when exactly it might become available for purchase at Verizon.

However, provided that the newly rumored July 31 launch date pans out, we’ll be able to learn all of the necessary info on this (as well as on the phone’s full hardware capabilities) in a matter of days, so stay tuned.
