Mobile phone users in the United States on the network of wireless carrier AT&T will soon be able to purchase a new affordable smartphone coming from LG, in the form of LG G Vista, the latest reports on the matter reveal.

The handset has made it to the headlines quite a few times over the past several months, but it has been said to arrive only at Verizon Wireless until now.

However, it appears that AT&T will receive the mobile phone as well, with model number LG-D631 attached to it, as a recent article on mylgphones reveals.

The model is not new, as it has been spotted online a few times before, when it was said to be the LG G Pro 2 Lite for the wireless carrier, but it appears that it will actually be launched as another flavor of the G Vista.

The hardware specifications of the two smartphone models should be similar, which means that AT&T’s customers will receive a 5.7-inch device running under the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, the same as those on Verizon’s network will.

AT&T’s LG G Vista is also said to arrive on the market with a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 MSM8226 processor inside, paired with Adreno 305 graphics and 1GB of RAM. The aforementioned 5.7-inch screen should deliver an HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution.

Moreover, the mobile phone is expected to include 8GB of internal memory, along with a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes.

On the back, AT&T’s LG G Vista should feature an 8-megapixel camera (most probably capable of recording videos at least in HD resolution), paired with a 1.3MP camera on the front.

The mobile phone will also land on shelves at AT&T with support for the wireless carrier’s 4G LTE network, as well as with the usual set of connectivity capabilities, which include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS receiver with aGPS.

The AT&T LG G Vista (LG D631) will be powered by a 3200mAh Li-Ion battery, while running under the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, as mentioned above. Most probably, it will also include various exclusive apps and software features coming from LG itself.

Although an official confirmation on LG G Vista hasn’t been provided as of now, the phone’s user manual has been already posted online, which suggests that it might not be too long before it is formally introduced.

Rumor has it that Verizon will announce the phone on July 31, and chances are that AT&T will make a similar move on or around that day. Stay tuned for more on the matter.
