We reported last week the dual-SIM version of LG G Pro Lite went on sale in India for Rs 18,300 ($295/€215) outright, and now the South Korean company has officially introduced the smartphone in the country.

AndroidOS reports LG India announced a different suggested retail price for the G Pro Lite Dual, though most retailers across the country are selling the smartphone for a lot less.

It appears that LG G Pro Lite Dual should have been available for purchase for Rs 22,990 ($375/€270) outright, but thankfully it’s been released for much cheaper.

Aside from bringing dual-SIM support, the G Pro Lite Dual offers users a huge 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 540 x 960 pixels and 200ppi pixel density.

Hardware-wise, LG’s semi-phablet doesn’t look too impressive, as the device is powered by a dual-core MediaTek MT6577 processor clocked at 1 GHz, which is complemented by a PowerVR SGX531 graphics processing unit.

In addition, LG G Pro Lite Dual packs 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

On the back, the smartphone sports an 8-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p@30fps) video recording. There’s also a secondary 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls.

Last but not least, it is worth mentioning the G Pro Lite Dual comes packed with stylus and a decent 3140 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is rated by the manufacturer for up to 845 hours of standby time or up to 14.5 hours of talk time.

“The LG G Pro Lite is a feature and experience rich smartphone specifically designed to provide communication flexibility to our growing customer base. We are strengthening our mobile portfolio by continuously adding-in feature and experience rich devices so as to provide our customers with competitive devices,” said Soon Kwon, M.D, LG India.
