It shows what the Magic Focus functionality is all about

LG G Pro 2, one of the high-end smartphones that should arrive on shelves worldwide in the not too distant future, is already available in South Korea, LG’s homeland market, and it seems that the vendor has started a marketing campaign to increase awareness of it.

This is a large device, packing a 5.9-inch touchscreen display that can deliver a full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) resolution, and is also a powerful one, courtesy of a 2.26GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor packed inside it, paired with 3GB of RAM.

However, one of the main selling points of LG G Pro 2 is its 13-megapixel camera on the back, which sports features such as Optical Image Stabilization, 2160p video recording, HDR, and more.

A video ad for the handset, embedded above, focuses exactly on the camera capabilities of the device, mainly on the Magic Focus functionality, which allows users to refocus a photo after taking it.

As PhoneArena notes, LG is not the first vendor to include such capabilities in its smartphones, since Nokia has already made a similar move, yet it’s great to see that the feature gains traction.

On top of that, the ad itself is appealing too, given that it has been created in a very simple manner, showing a user taking photos of her cute white dog. After all, this is what advertisements should be all about: bringing to the front the main features of products.
