While Sprint has already launched the LG G Pad F 7.0 back in March, it looks like AT&T will be picking up its slightly larger sibling, the G Pad F 8.0.

AT&T has just announced that it will carry the LG G Pad F 8.0 beginning May 29. The tablet will be available for purchase for $0 down and 20 monthly payments of $12.50 and with an AT&T Tablet installment plan.

In addition, customers will be able to get the tablet for $150 with a new two-year agreement. Also, LG G Pad F 8.0 can be added to a new or existing Mobile Share Value plan for only $10 per month.

LG's latest tablet will ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop right out of the box, along with some new features specifically tailored by the South Korean company for its smartphones and tablets.

For example, the G Pad F 8.0 allows users to take advantage of the so-called Qpair feature that provides them with the option to use the tablet to answer calls and reply to messages received on a compatible Android smartphone.

It lacks LED flash, but it does come with stylus

Moreover, the LG G Pad F 8.0 comes with a stylus which makes it easy to take meeting notes in QuickMemo+, while the Dual Window feature makes multitasking simple and effortless.

Hardware-wise, the G Pad F 8.0 can be put in the budget-friendly tier. The tablet is equipped with a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.

It also comes with microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 128GB), as well as a 5-megapixel photo snapper in the back, which features autofocus and video recording (no LED flash).

As the name suggests, the tablet sports an 8-inch HD+ IPS capacitive touchscreen display, and according to LG, it features a full-size USB port.

Last but not least, LG G Pad F 8.0 is powered by a massive 4,200 mAh battery, which should provide up to 9.5 hours of continuous usage time.
