News about LG launching a new set of tablets from the G Pad family surfaced not so long ago. The Korean device maker is planning to roll out 7-, 8- and 10.1-inch versions that will compete with similar offerings from ASUS and Samsung.

So far we’ve only had two press photos of the tablets and the specifications of the smaller one, which revealed the trio would be offering mid-range capabilities.

Now the always watchful @evleaks (via TabTech) has posted a photo showing a screenshot snapped on one of the tablets. The image reveals LG will be using the Optimus UI with the new set of tablets but other details are always visible, too.

In the screenshot we can see somebody is calling the owner of the new LG tablet, so is it safe to assume we’re going to see a UMTS or LTE version of the slate, too? The idea is that you’ll be able to use the slates for talking on the phone as well.

For those who don’t remember, the 7-incher’s specs were leaked online a while earlier, showing that the device will arrive with 1280 x 800 pixels, a Snapdragon 400 processor fitted with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory and Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box.

LG might be planning to unveil the three new slates on May 27, when it will show the LG G3 for the first time.
