US-based major carrier Sprint has just announced it will add the LG G Flex2 to its portfolio of Android smartphones beginning next month.

LG G Flex2 will be available for purchase at Sprint starting March 13 for only $504 (€443) outright. Customers who wish to pre-order the smartphone will be able to do so from February 20.

It's also worth mentioning the LG G Flex2 will also be available for $0 down, no finance fees and 24 easy monthly payments of $21 (€18).

Sprint customers will also be pleased to know that the carrier will exclusively release the LG G Flex2 in Volcano Red, though the smartphone will also be available in Platinum Silver.

As for what you will get for the above-mentioned price, the LG G Flex2 is a high-end smartphone powered by Android 5.0 Lollipop right out of the box. This means there's no need to wait for a Lollipop update, which usually tends to lag behind.

Curved 5.5-inch display and self-healing back panel coating

Just like the predecessor model, LG G Flex2 sports a curved display, only slightly smaller. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch full HD P-OLED display, as well as a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with OIS+ (optical image stabilization) and Laser Auto Focus.

On the inside, LG G Flex2 packs a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset that accommodates a 2GHz quad-core CPU and another 1.5GHz quad-core processor.

The smartphone is also equipped with an Adreno 430 graphics processing unit, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD.

The self-healing back panel coating will help maintain the smartphone's cover free of any minor scratches, while the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 is meant to protect the phone's display.

Keep in mind that the 3,000 mAh battery that powers the LG G Flex2 is non-removable. Connectivity-wise, the curved smartphone supports Sprint's 2.5GHz LTE network, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, DLNA and microUSB 2.0 (SlimPort).
