Wireless carrier EE will bring the LG G Flex curved smartphone to the market in the UK soon, before the phone’s official debut in February 2014.

Apparently, EE and LG have signed an exclusive agreement for the release of this device, though sales will not kick off until the smartphone is officially launched in Europe.

According to Pocket-lint, users will be able to play with the smartphone at various EE locations in the UK.

Those interested in the handset will find it at EE stores in Westfield Shopping Centres in London's Stratford and White City, in Oxford Street in London, and at Kent's Bluewater Shopping Centre.

Moreover, the device will be on display at EE locations in Nottingham, Manchester, Brighton, Cambridge, Sheffield, and at the Merry Hill Centre in the West Midlands.

"LG is renowned for its technical innovation so we’re pleased to be working with them to bring the G Flex to UK consumers," said Sharon Meadows, director of devices at EE.

"The G Flex is perfectly optimised to take advantage of our unique double-speed 4G network and will provide users with an immersive viewing experience so they can make the most out of watching video on the go."

LG G Flex went official with a large 6-inch flexible touchscreen display that can deliver a 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, and which is also curved.

Furthermore, the smartphone features a 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor inside, paired with 2GB of RAM, as well as 32GB of internal memory.

The phone packs a 13-megapixel camera on the back, a front camera for making video calls, and Google’s Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system loaded on top.

The handset also includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS receiver, and the usual set of sensors. On top of that, LG launched it with a curved battery and with a self-healing back cover.
