LG officially announced the G Flex last year and confirmed that the curved smartphone would arrive in India as well. However, the South Korean company did not offer any details on the device’s availability and pricing options.

Android fans in India who can afford an exceptionally expensive smartphone will be happy to know that the LG G Flex will be available for purchase in a few days.

Indian retailer Mahesh Telecom has confirmed that it will receive the LG G Flex in stock in about 2-3 days, but those anxious to grab it may want to prepare their wallets, as the device costs a small fortune.

According to the Indian authorized reseller, LG G Flex will be available in India for no less than Rs 69,999 outright, which is about $1,120 or €820.

For that amount, customers will receive one of the few curved smartphones available on the market, which comes packed with a powerful processor and an impressive camera.

LG G Flex will ship with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, but the handset maker has confirmed that the smartphone will be getting a KitKat update soon.

On the inside, the handset comes equipped with a 2.26 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, an Adreno 330 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM. The G Flex does not feature microSD card slot for memory expansion, but it comes packed with 32GB storage by default.

Obviously, the main selling point of the LG G Flex is the stunning 6-inch curved P-OLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution.

Another strong point of the smartphone is the enhanced 13-megapixel rear-facing camera that features autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording. There’s also a secondary 2.1-megapixel camera in the front.
