The thing that you should do to install the new V04 version firmware from LG is to get down to the closest Verizon Wireless dealer and ask for an update. There is another way to do this but it is not recommended neither by Verizon nor by any other authorized dealer: you can download the firmware and flash files from the internet and install them by yourself, at home. Even if this operation will be a successful one, there is still the danger of voiding the phone's warranty, and I'm sure you don't want that to happen.
So, just go to your nearest Verizon dealer/store/representative and ask them nicely to update your Chocolate's firmware, not forgetting to mention the version number that you want.
