Cingular Wireless has announced the availability of the LF F9200 phone.

This is the third thumb-board cell phone with slide-out QWERTY keyboard, that Cingular adds to its lineup, after Samsung SGH-D307 and LG F9100. The handset's keyboard enriches the messaging experience. Cingular's Mobile Email (which supports Yahoo, Hotmail, and AOL e-mail) allows users to register for up to 10 different email accounts. The Instant Messaging functions enable users to send and receive messages comprised of a combination of text, sound and images.

The dual-band GSM 850/1900 MHz LG F9200 supports GPRS Class 10 and WAP 2.0 browser with image support. The phone features a 65K (128 x 60 pixels, 8 lines) color screen, 24 MB Flash/8 MB SRAM memory, Voice Dialer, Voice Memo Recording, Full-Duplex Speakerphone and a 0.3 megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom. LG F9200 has all the features of a modern phone, but it will sell especially for its messaging capability.

The phone can be bought for about US$150 with subscription.
