The world of mid-range Android smartphones is quite vast, so few will probably notice when a particular device will be launched on the market unless they pack more than decent specs and are priced very low.

LG Escape2 is a decent, but not out of the ordinary, mid-range Android smartphone which hasn't been officially announced yet. However, US-based carrier AT&T has already listed the LG Escape2 on its website, which points to an imminent release.

We even know how much the LG Escape2 will cost and what the smartphone has to offer in terms of specs. First of all, the mid-range handset is now available for purchase at AT&T for only $200 outright, or $9 per month on AT&T Next 12, $7.50 per month on Next 18, and $6 per month on Next 24.

Furthermore, AT&T also provides customers who can't afford to pay that amount monthly with the option to grab the LG Escape2 for just $1. However, they will have to commit to a new two-year agreement.

Curved HD display and 4G LTE support

Moving on to specs, it's worth noting that LG Escape2 ships with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system right out of the box. In addition, it comes with LG's proprietary features like Glance View, Gesture Shot, KnockOn, as well as Knock Code.

Other than that, the Escape2 packs pretty average specs, such as 4.7-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that support HD (720p) resolution.

Also, the smartphone is equipped with a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, an Adreno 306 graphics processing unit and 1GB of RAM.

LG Escape2 packs only 8GB of internal memory, but users can further expand storage up to 32GB via microSD card (purchased separately).

Last but not least, LG's mid-range smartphone features a 8-megapixel camera in the back, a secondary camera in the front, 4G LTE support, as well as 2,100 mAh battery.
