It looks like Bell Canada plans to release yet another Android-based smartphone, namely the LG Eclipse. Tipped by the folks over at MobileSyrup, the LG Eclipse is a mid-budget Android  smartphone, which is expected to hit shelves within the next few weeks.

Rumor has it that the LG Eclipse is Bell's version of the LG Enlighten, which was launched two months ago at Verizon Wireless.

The phone is reportedly coming with Android 2.3 Gingerbread on board, and features a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 320 x 480 pixels resolution.

The LG Eclipse sports a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 3.2-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi connectivity, 512 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB) and an 800 MHz processor. No word yet on the phone's release date or price tag.
