A one minute movie and a few pictures could tell the story of a new rumored LG smartphone, codenamed E720. Even though it seems to run the latest Android 2.2 operating system, from the pictures it seems a pretty common smartphone.

Thanks to the guys over Android.com.pl we are now able to check out the world's first photos, as well as a short movie that shows a new LG smartphone, the E720.
The Korean company already used its fans with stylish designs, and LG E720 perfectly fits the profile.

Even though information about its features is still scarce, we know the device is powered by a Qualcomm MSM7227 processor, probably running at 600 Mhz speed.

Built-in GPS receiver, Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as a 5.0-megapixel camera are also a few features that leaked together with the pictures of the smartphone.

The smartphone comes with a mid-sized 3.2-inches capacitive touch screen, which suggests that it might target mid-ranged budgets.

LG E720 runs on anAndroid 2.2 platform, but it might also feature a specific UI over the OS, but we're not sure yet.

Further, the device might be preping for a T-Mobile launch in U.S.A., as we can already see the carrier's logo right at the beginning of the movie, when the device starts to boots.

Of course, it might be Deutsche Telekom ready, which is the same thing, but that remains to be seen in the coming days.

Price tag and date of release are still unknown, but the smartphone should be launched by the end of the year.

All in all, from what little information we got, LG E720 is definitely a mid-budget Android smartphone that will be launched through T-Mobile.

Its price might not go over the $300 range, unlocked, but it might be subsidized, which means cheaper price.
