South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics is getting ready to put its Optimus 4X HD smartphone on shelves in Europe this month.

The company has already confirmed plans on the matter, including the fact that its new smartphone would arrive in Germany as soon as today.

Next, the handset will be launched in the Netherlands, Sweden, Great Britain and Italy, while being set to arrive in six other countries soon after.

Overall, 11 European countries will be able to benefit from the features and capabilities that LG’s quad-core behemoth has to offer, Engadget reports.

Unveiled earlier this year, the device features a Tegra 3 CPU, a large 4.7-inch 720p HD IPS LCD, 1GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory, microSD card slot, and Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform to power them all.
