All handsets will be available for purchase by late August

South Korean handset maker LG has just introduced its L-Style series of phones in Australia. LG Optimus L3, L5 and L7 will be available for purchase through leading carriers and retailers across the country by late August.

However, LG also announced the upcoming availability of a new L-Style series phone, the Optimus L2. This is a dual-SIM smartphone, which is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and packs an 800 MHz single-core processor.

The phone embeds 1GB of RAM, a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display, a 3.2-megapixel rear camera, as well as a 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery.

LG Optimus L2 will be available in Australia via Boost Mobile and other authorized sellers for only $119 AUD on prepaid.

The LG Optimus L3 will go on sale within the next few days at Telstra and will be available for purchase for $99 AUD on prepaid. The smartphone is powered by Gingerbread platform and packs an 800MHz single-core processor.

Other highlights of the Optimus L2 include 1GB of RAM, 3.2-inch QVGA capacitive touchscreen display, 3.2-megapixel rear camera and 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery.

The third L-Style series phone launched in Australia, Optimus L5 will be available through Boost Mobile starting next month for only $199 AUD on prepaid.

LG Optimus L5 is a budget-friendly smartphone that runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich integrated with Optimus 3.0 UI.

In addition, the handset is equipped with an 800 MHz single-core processor, a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen display, a 5-megapixel photo snapper and a 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery.

Last but not least, LG confirmed the Optimus L7 was made available for purchase at Optus for $269 AUD on prepaid.

Moreover, customers can also grab the smartphone free of charge on a $30 AUD plan. The smartphone is powered by Ice Cream Sandwich platform and comes equipped with a 1 GHz single-core CPU and 512MB of RAM.
