Verizon is preparing a hot summer for its subscribers, as it has just announced the upcoming availability of no less than three new LG phones: LG Decoy, LG Dare and LG Chocolate 3.

LG Dare is by far the main attraction of the new line-up. The handset features a wide touchscreen display with a 240 x 400 pixels resolution, GPS and VZ Navigator, a 3.2 Megapixel camera with Schneider Kreuznach optics, flash and video recording, V CAST Music, photo editor, Web and email capabilities, Music player, Bluetooth, and so on. The new Dare will become available for purchase in the second half of this month (June), for a price that has not yet been announced.

LG Decoy, previously seen in lots of leaked images, is now officially confirmed for a June 16 release. The phone is a slider that comes with a detachable Bluetooth headset, access to V CAST Video and V CAST Music, GPS, a 2 Megapixel camera with video and other features that have not yet been unveiled.

LG Chocolate 3 is, obviously, the successor of the other Chocolate phones that Verizon is currently offering. Surprisingly, the new Chocolate is a clamshell and not a slider like the previous models. The phone will feature a 2.0 megapixel camera, Music player, FM radio, expandable memory and should hit the stores in July.

By unveiling these devices now, we are giving our customers the opportunity to choose the device that's right for them, backed by the most reliable wireless network in the nation."

All the three new LG phones will be fully presented (with pricing and all) by Verizon at the time of their announced releases.
