South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics is gearing up for the launch of a nice range of new smartphones, and appears set to load Google’s Android 4.4 KitKat operating system on them.

One of these phones was spotted online at the end of November last year with model number LG D830 attached to it, and with 4G LTE connectivity inside.

No official confirmation on the existence of the device has been provided as of now but, given the fact that the phone continues to emerge in logs, it might not be too long before it is formally announced.

This time around, the handset was seen over at HTML5Test, where D830’s browser (Chrome 30) scored 503 out of 555, as PhoneArena reports.

The smartphone is expected to land on shelves with a full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) touchscreen display, which suggests that it could be a high-end device. Moreover, rumor has it that it could be launched as an Optimus G Pro sequel, supposedly called G Pro 2, but this is mere speculation for now.

In addition to this phone, handsets such as LG LS740, LG D410, LG D320, and LG MS323 were also spotted at HTML5Test with the Android 4.4 KitKat platform on them.

LS740 is expected to become available for purchase in the United States via Sprint with LTE connectivity inside, supposedly the successor of the 4-inch LG F3 LS720 that landed at the wireless carrier last year.

Unfortunately, no details on the rest of the aforementioned smartphones have been offered as of now, and photos with them are missing as well, so we’re left in the dark regarding their looks and specs.

All in all, the good news is that LG is planning the launch of multiple Android 4.4 KitKat-based smartphones. Hopefully, it will do so sooner rather than later, so stay tuned to learn the news.
