Unveiled in early January at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, LG Connect 4G was initially slated for a February release at MetroPCS. However, the regional carrier only made the smartphone available in early March.

Customers who want to purchase this LTE-enabled device would have to shell out no less than 319 US dollars (240 Euro), after a 30 US dollars (20 Euro) mail-in rebate.

However, they won’t have to commit to a long term contract. LG Connect 4G is a Gingerbread smartphone equipped with a powerful dual core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz.

The smartphone packs 4GB of internal memory, 1GB of RAM, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB, 2GB memory card included). There’s also a 4-inch LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution.
