LG Electronics is getting ready for the launch of its Optimus G Pro smartphone in more markets around the world this quarter, and has already confirmed that 40 new countries in Europe, CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States), Latin America and the Middle-East will receive it.
Packing a 5.5-inch full HD display and a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 CPU inside, paired with 2GB of RAM, the smartphone has already managed to sell over 1 million units to date in South Korea.
“LG’s Optimus G Pro sets a new benchmark in the over 5-inch display smartphone category which is catching on with consumers everywhere who aren’t interested in owning both a phone and a tablet,” Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company, said, AndroidOS reports.
Optimus G Pro also comes with 32GB of internal memory, 13MP back camera, 2MP front camera, a 3140mAh battery, LTE connectivity, and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.
