Even though 3D was hardly a major selling point until late last year, this display mode has become quite popular over the past months, to the point where LG actually decided to bring out the BX327, a 3D projector for use in office presentations.

3D definitely got positive reception when applied to movies, and even TV broadcasts have started to adopt this technology.

Granted, some films did not exactly get positive reviews when it came to their 3D rendering, but the overall perception of 3D films is, currently, favorable, at least to some extent.

LG now expands the use of this mode to the business sector, allowing every PowerPoint or other type of presentation to become more immersive.

The BX327 sells for roughly 1,300,000KRW (the equivalent of roughly $1,090) and delivers 3,200 lumens, which should be enough for most medium to large presentation rooms.

The device also comes with a contrast of 2,300:1, which should make the image quite clear and easy to synchronize for the pair of shutter glasses.

To make sure that the one doing the presentation can provide a suitable audio accompaniment, the projector was outfitted with its own stereo speakers.

What's more, the electronic features an USB port that will let it access photos, video and, of course, documents, directly from an USB flash drive.

LG will be faced with skepticism regarding whether or not buying such a product is worth it considering that PowerPoint, office or other kinds of presentations don't exactly have many elements that would benefit from 3D.

Nevertheless, the company appears confident enough to release another 3D projector, the BX277, which has 2,700 lumens and a price of roughly $840 (1,000,000KRW).

What remains is to see how amenable the members of the executive teams around the world are to the idea of wearing 3D glasses during a meeting.
