14 DAY TRIAL // South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics already announced that it would deliver its elongated candybar LG BL40 Chocolate handset to the European market starting with September, at it seems that the company kept its promise. Handset users in the UK can already purchase the phone from Carphone Warehouse and mobiles.co.uk, either choosing for an O2 or an Orange contract agreement.
Those interested in this device should know that it is available for purchase for free on a £30 a month tariff, though users can go for other plans as well. Thus, for a £15 a month tariff one would get the LG BL40 Chocolate for £169.99 with O2 or pay £219.99 for it in case Orange's network is the choice. For the time being, it seems that mobiles.co.uk and Carphone Warehouse are the only ones to have the device up for grabs, yet it is uncertain for how long their exclusivity will last.
For those of you who might not have encountered the LG BL40 Chocolate until now, we should say that the design of this phone is one of the most interesting ones. It comes with a 4-inch display that boasts a 21:9 wide aspect ration and an 800 x 345 pixel resolution, and it proves to be one of the longest handsets on the market, if not the longest.
