LG may not have been pulling out as many guns as some of tis rivals lately, but it did not sit aside either, having issued an official announcement now that the Aurora Xnote S laptop line is ready to rumble.

One would think that, after all the other product launches, Samsung would take a break and enjoy the show.

Whether or not this will happen will be made obvious if the Sense Series 3 300V notebooks (available in multiple colors) and the SyncMaster Super PLS Monitors are joined by any siblings during the next few days.

Then again, seeing a company keep on releasing product after product is just about as common as it is to hear of them spending months working on one before finally bringing it out.

As far as LG is concerned, there has definitely been no shortage of new releases, although the notebook and display fields haven't been so abundantly covered as the smartphone area lately.

Now, customers from South Korea have a new laptop series to feast their eyes on and, if they so choose, their wallets as well.

Dubbed LG Aurora Xnote S, it is intended for those that want their machines fashionable at all times.

The hardware of the new line's members is centered around an Intel Core i5 central processing unit (CPU) from the second generation.

An AMD Mobility Radeon HD 6470M graphics card is present as well, as are 4 GB of RAM (random access memory) and LCD screens of either 14 inches (S430) or 15.6 inches (S530).

On that note, the former notebook weigh roughly 2.45 kilograms, while the latter amounts to 2.6 kilograms.

All in all, they should strike a good balance between performance, versatility, portability and ease of use, plus affordability, though it is impossible to tell just how high the appeal actually is, seeing as how LG did not provide any pricing information in its press release.
