People might want to hold a browser open and write things or do some work, at the same time. It can definitely help reference things, if nothing else, without having to swap between windows all the time.

That's why LG made the 29-inch IPS all-in-one with a native resolution of 2560 x 1080 pixels.

It's not the mightiest computer in the world, but it will do for regular office and home work.

Which is to say, the system pairs an Intel Core i5 CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce GT640M GPU (3D capable).

HDMI and MHL input are available in case some other PC, media player or whatever else, needs to use the large panel.

An instant messaging app is included too, which lets people watch TV and chat online at the same time.

The PC should sell soon, if it isn't already, for $1,315 to $2,021 / €982 – 1,509.
