The W63D 3D monitor that LG showed off today is not the only 3D-supporting product that the company released. In fact, it is just one of a trio, the other two being a 3D projector and, more importantly, a 3D notebook. The last one in the list is the more noteworthy addition, since it is actually the first 3D-enabled mobile PC that LG made. It goes by the name of R590 3D and uses a combination of Intel processing and NVIDIA graphics.

Like most mobile PCs on sale in the world, the newcomer doesn't have a fixed build, allowing, instead, for end-users to customize their device. Not every bit of information is known on the hardware though. The CPU will be a member of Intel's Core i7 Series, but the exact model, or models are unmentioned. Likewise, LG did not specifically point out the amount of RAM that said chip will have on hand.

There are, however, some parts that have been named. The graphics solution will be the NVIDIA GeForce GT 335M, a dedicated card with 1 GB of memory. This board will have full control over the 15.6-inch LCD display. Other specifications include a DVD or blu-ray drive, SRS Tru-Surround HD sound support and the pre-loaded TriDef software, which can convert 2D content into 3D in real time. Finally, the machine will be pre-loaded with the Microsoft Windows 7 operating system, though the exact version is, also, still a mystery.

There has been no mention of the NVIDIA Optimus technology, so it is unclear whether or not the product will benefit from its ability to automatically switch between the integrated and the discrete GPU. Nevertheless, this detail, as well as the exact specs, will make themselves known later this month, when LG starts shipping its offspring in South Korea, priced at $1,314. Worldwide availability is slated for August.
