A while ago, an over-excited fan made public a photo of a well-preserved secret, the box for the Simpsons-themed LEGO recreation of the 742 Evergreen residence. Now, the brick building company released the official limited-edition tribute for the famous sitcom.

In honor of the famous cartoon's 25th anniversary, LEGO kicked off a brick-built house made from 2,523 pieces, six mini figurines of the iconic characters, and some other special features like Bart's skateboard ramp, or Homer's car and barbecue.

Alongside the amazing toy set, the yellow family's fans will also be able to enjoy a special episode of the Simpsons in May 2014 featuring all the characters in their LEGO form. The Simpsons is one of the longest running TV shows in history, created back in 1989 and attracting millions of fans.

The collaboration between LEGO and Fox was meant to result in a one-of-a-kind tribute for one of the world's most loved shows, viewed by people of all ages. The collaboration takes pride in managing to build an incredibly detailed and unique themed LEGO collection to showcase their appreciation for an iconic show.
