The animated functions will show users whether they are building the car models correctly

I’m sure there are a lot people that love LEGO out there and even more that have a thing for cars. But if the two passions intertwine, you should know that LEGO has just made available an app that walks users through the process of building two new car models.

The only tweak is, you’ll be needing an older tablet to view it. LEGO claims that the app is compatible with Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and first-gen Nexus 7 and reportedly even with the Galaxy Tab 8.9.

No explanation is given to why this might be and if an updated version compatible with current-generation tablets might become available in the near future.

Anyway, let’s go back to the app, which offers animated, step-by-step instruction for assembling the Hot Rod or Rally Racer. The blueprints can be zoomed, panned and spanned with 360 degrees, with every brick being viewable.

The “Ghost View” allows LEGO car builders to see how far they come and how long they still have to go.

The app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store free of charge, so if you have an older tablet go right ahead.
