It seems that a video game using the LEGO bricks and based on the classic Jurassic Park franchise is at the moment in development, with the launch date set to take place in 2015, probably designed to accompany the launch of the new movie.

The information comes from a fan site called JurassicWorld, which quoted data coming from two memos that were circulated among employees of Toys’R’Us and data gathered from the fan community.

No names are given for the development team or the publisher, but all LEGO-based video games are created by Traveller’s Tales and delivered to the market by Warner Bros.

Nothing is known about the story of the title or its mechanics, but the plot will probably be intertwined with that of the Jurassic World movie.

The cast includes: Irrfan Khan, BD Wong, Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Vincent D'Onofrio, Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, Omar Sy, and Judy Greer.

It’s unclear whether they will be reprising their roles for the LEGO-based video game.

It seems that the movie will benefit from a lot of promotion, with a set of real world bricks based around it, partnerships with a variety of companies and an augmented reality campaign that will probably also include the video game.
