LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures is an puzzle platfomer developed by Traveller's Tales and published by Lucas Arts that was released on the Nintendo DS, as well as the other platforms, on the 3rd of June 2008 in North America and on the 6th of June 2008 in Europe. The game revolves around the first three Indian Jones movies and it allows players to play through some of the most popular scenes recreated in a well-known LEGO way.

The Nintendo DS version was modified to accommodate the limited capabilities, but also the special touch screen controls of Nintendo's handheld console. The special skill of every characters have been changed to be triggered using the stylus. Moreover, the built-in microphone allows players to blow out torches in some levels or inflate rafts for water-based obstacles.

LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures also has some special cameos by Star Wars characters like Wicket the Ewok or Luke Skywalker frozen in a ice cave similar to the one in the Empire Strike Back. Unfortunately, these characters are not playable like in the home console versions. Another funny cameos is in the last scene of The Last Crusade when the Grail Knight's first appearance is accompanied by a shadow that resembles that of Lord Vader. The only non-Indiana Jones characters that are playable are Santa Clause, Strong Man, Castle Knight and the Clown. The DS version also feature red power bricks and not the red parcels that replaced them in the home console versions.
