The development team at Traveller's Tales and publisher Warner Bros. announce that they are working on a Season Pass for the upcoming LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, the first that will be offered for one of the titles in the long-running series.

The offer is quite extensive as it allows gamers to get access to 6 downloadable content packs which are designed to introduce a range of new themed and unique missions that will also include new characters, vehicles, achievements and gameplay challenges.

The first 3 of the DLCs included in the Season Pass for LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will be launched on November 14, and the other three will follow a few months later, according to the two companies, and the offer is at the moment available on the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, the PC and last-gen consoles for 14.99 dollars or Euro, cheaper than buying all the new content separately.

Get ready for superhero DLC

Warner Bros. announces that the Season Pas will cover the following content:

- The Dark Knight Pack: focused on the chase scene from the movie with the same name.

The developers state, "Play as the legendary Dark Knight and Commissioner Gordon, as well as the Joker and his goons as they chase down Harvey Dent’s police escort. Bane and Catwoman from the third film are also playable."

- Man of Steel Pack: set to allow gamers to play as Jor-El, wife Lara and robot ally Kelex as they try to send Superman towards Earth as Krypton falls into chaos, with a big fight with General Zod included.

- Batman 75th Pack: gamers can become the Joker or Harley Quinn as they try to set up traps for the Dark Knight, or the hero and try out some of its various incarnations.

More content will come at a later date

Warner Bros. adds that gamers will also "Gain access to three additional game packs, featuring new playable characters, vehicles and levels. Details about the additional content will be revealed at a later date."

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will be launched on November 14 and is the most ambitious title in the series so far.

Gamers will be able to become a number of the heroes or villains of the DC Comics universe and will work to try and stop Brainiac from using the Lantern Rings in order to shrink Earth and add it to its collection of planets.
