A teacher has described the horrific moments he spent caught up in a shooting at LAX airport. He suffered an injury to his leg at Los Angeles International Airport.

23-year-old Paul Ciancia opened fire at LAX, killing a TSA officer and injuring at least two others. Officials believe that the LAX shooter may have been a part of the Patriot movement.

Survivor Brian Ludmer was shot in the leg as he was trying to escape. The 29-year-old man was on an upper level of the airport, at a Terminal 3 security checkpoint. When shots were fired, passengers scrambled for safety, but he was shot from behind.

He ducked and crawled to a storage room, locking himself inside, the AP reported. He used a sweatshirt to try to stop the bleeding and waited in sheer panic until police cleared the perimeter.
