Smoothes out wrinkles, brings back healthy glow to the skin

We’ve heard so much about products that brag about being able to turn back the hands of time, promising nothing short of the fountain of eternal youth, that, undoubtedly, most of us must already be sick and tired of the same ol’ story told over and over again. I, for what it’s worth, never bought into the “this cream can make you young again” story, although I admit I have tried more of them than I should have or would have liked, for that matter. Until I received a sample of LA Science 2 Week Miracle Anti-Aging Program from LA Science, which says it nourishes the skin, imitating the speed of the processes in the skin of a 20-year-old, thanks to its peptide content.

I had previously written about the treatment and how it aimed to tackle the issue of old age in four steps, with four distinct products that should be applied on a daily basis for a fortnight, as the name itself implies. Then, I got my sample and started using it on myself. As a side note, at 27 going on 28, I still have incredible skin, with very few spots and even fewer wrinkles, most of which I got from laughing and too much frowning in bright daylight. Still they are there, and I can see them for what they are, or will be: the wrinkles of tomorrow. One of the oldest beauty rules says that any woman past 25 must think ahead and start to actively prevent the apparition of expression lines, as well as to rid herself of the small ones already existent. Clearly, I was more than willing to give LA Science 2 Week program a go.

The program, as already noted, consists of four steps: four individual products that come in silver, very classy looking containers, each provided with a pump that makes use extremely easy. On the side of each container there is also something like a transparent little “window” if you will that allows you to see how much of its content you have used up, so that you know when it’s about time to buy a new kit. There is a toner, a serum, a cream and an eye contour gel, all of them coming with high concentrations, which means a single drop (or squeeze, more like it) is more than enough to cover the entire face. Each has a vague sweetish smell that you can perceive only if you try really hard, and that made me think of cleanliness, like when you have just stepped out of the bathroom.

The first step before starting to apply the treatment is to remove all makeup from the face and then to wash it with water. On a moist pad, you squeeze two or three times on the pump of the first container (all four are numbered and also carry the name of the product within to make it easier to use, since they all look about the same save for their size), and you proceed to apply it on the face and neck in circular movements going towards the exterior. Once the face is dry, you apply the serum – again, two squeezes are enough. Then, you move to the cream, which has an unbelievably thick texture and moisturizes even better than creams that come from brands with a long history of moisturizing, available now on the market. Last comes the eye contour gel, which, again, is very rich and leaves the skin feeling soft and nourished.

I was surprised to notice that there was no tingling or any type of sensation of the kind, neither during application nor in the minutes after it. As a matter of fact, there was no sensation whatsoever hinting that this treatment was supposed to fight wrinkles, save for that I had just given my face one of the richest and most nourishing treatments ever. Two days into the program, I could see no major difference on my face: the fine lines around the eyes and the two on each side of my mouth were still there, but the skin looked healthier and had more glow to it. After four days of use (in the morning and at night before going to bed), I got my first question of “Have you done something to your face? You look different.” The treatment was working. At the end of the two weeks, the wrinkles were less visible, the skin was rosier and had more elasticity to it, and it seemed to literally ooze health. One week after completing the treatment, it’s still the same.

The Science Behind LA Science 2 Week Miracle Anti-Aging Program

Each of the four products acts in different ways to combat most, if not all, signs of old age: the toner moisturizes and acts as a pH balancer, while also removing all impurities from the face, the serum supplies “sufficient nutrition and active ingredients,” the cream helps reduce wrinkles and bring back some of the natural elasticity of the skin, while the eye contour eliminates the fine lines around the eyes, which are among the first to appear and, at the same time, the hardest to fight because of the sensitive nature of the skin in the area. Below is a detailed description of how each works, as per creator LA Science.

The Miracle Solution (the toner) “gently tones and clarifies the complexion. Perfectly clean and ready for Anti-aging skin care products to be applied. Various nano-encapsulated peptides replenish dry skin with elasticity and vitality through excellent absorption. It soothes skin and removes dirt, oil and residue providing skin a sufficient nutrition. The skin appears visibly fresh and healthy.”

The Miracle Serum “replenish[es], lift[s] and renew[s] skin against the aging process. Skin appears firmer and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles is reduced. Miracle Serum makes skin elastic with enough nutrition and keeps skin to maintain optimum moisture balance, […] without a sticky feeling. It also removes and prevents wrinkles, regenerating a new skin cell. A silky smooth, fluid and creamy texture that lightly caresses your skin then sinks in completely, giving a delicious feeling of comfort. It leaves skin deliciously velvety, silky and radiant, for an incredible feeling of comfort.”

The Miracle Cream “gently fills in lines, smoothing skin’s textures. Facial features appear firmer and the complexion looks radiant. Shows marvelous effects to reduce wrinkles. A variety of peptides replenish skin with moisture and nutrition. Re-energizes skin texture. Miracle Cream is the high concentration cream to reduce and prevent wrinkles by regenerating new skin cells and increasing skin elasticity through upregulation of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. Thick, velvety and indescribably soft, it evokes the luscious sensuality and supreme comforting pleasure. Its texture feels exquisitely soft from the very first touch.”

Last but not least, the Miracle Eye Contour “treats the whole eye area and acts on puffiness, dark circles, crow’s feet and frown lines. Nourishes, restructures and gently lifts skin. Miracle Eye Contour takes marvelous effects to reduce wrinkles. It slows down the visible signs of aging around the eyes and visibly reduces crow’s feet. It improves skin’s elasticity and provides with a fresh feeling and silky skin maintaining younger and healthier looking skin around the eyes.”

Conclusions

The LA Science 2 Week Miracle Anti-Aging Program is the type of treatment that you just have to try to believe in its benefits. Although branded as a “miracle,” it does not boast of being the fountain of youth, which is one of the first things that highly recommend it. It aims to prevent the signs of old age, like wrinkles, and to eliminate expression lines and the signs of fatigue, while giving the skin the healthy, rosy glow we all used to have in our early 20s. The LA Science 2 Week Miracle Anti-Aging Program delivers on all its promises – and, even if it hadn’t, it would still have made for one of the best moisturizing and refreshing treatments I have ever tried. What’s even better is that it takes under five minutes to apply.
