The development team at Rockstar has delivered an update to the OnLive version of its action title L.A. Noire which allows gamers who are playing the title on a tablet to use touch controls to interact with it.

The Team Bondi-developed game is offering a trial via OnLive, which means that anyone with an account and a tablet can get it to see how touch controls work with the game mechanics.

Android apps are the only ones supported at the moment by OnLive and there are more than 25 games that can be played using touch controls.

Rockstar promised that an update for L.A. Noire will take just a week to complete but the company needed about two months to create it.

OnLive is at the moment working on an iOS app that is set to offer capabilities similar to that of the Android-based one.

OnLive is based around the concept of streaming video games, which allows it to get major releases running on almost any kind of device.
