Rockstar’s L.A. Noire for PC has just received a small patch that promises to fix some compatibility issues with Windows 8.

Although we doubt there are many players that have upgraded to Microsoft’s latest version of Windows operating system, it’s nice to see Rockstar among the first to offer support for it.

There aren’t too many changes included in this update besides the compatibility fixes for Windows 8. In fact, Rockstar has not reveaed any additional details, except the fact that the patch contains “other minor fixes” as well.

For the time being, the patch has been released on Steam, but we suspect those who own retail versions of the game can download the latest update as well. For more details on the patch, check out the very short official announcement.
