Anyone can imagine what Tara Reid's life has been during these past couple of years. At a first glance, it would look like a lifestyle that anyone could kill for, involving nothing else than partying, getting laid, heavy drinking (and possibly drugs) and lots of media coverage.
But it was this very way of living each day as if it were her last that ruined Tara's career, while her drunken antics and comments paved the way for her complete downfall from grace. The worst thing was that all this was fully documented by the media and, in addition to it, by her own ill-inspired reality show, the ridiculous 'Taradise', in which she proved that she needs no one to make an ass of herself.
It started in 2004 when she first showed the world that she is the piece of white trash everybody suspected. Then, she hooked up with Paris Hilton and things seemed to get a life of their own from now on. Countless photos show the once-hot-actress lying on her butt on the pavement, legs wide apart, too drunk to get up or to cover herself.
People thought she would never get back on track and... yet, there's hope for everybody. Last week, Tara made an amazing public appearance, walking the red carpet with pride after almost two years of shame and scandal. On Tuesday, she came out again, at the opening of Lloyd Klein's store in Los Angeles.
If before she looked stunning, this time she looked beautiful (bearing in mind the way she was before). All slimmed down and easier on the make-up, Tara sported a classic-cut brown dress, with matching shoes and very little jewelry. She gathered her blonde hair in a bob, thus seeming thinner than before.
It's good to see comebacks like this one. First, there was her and then Nicole Richie, who is getting prettier by the day. Vive le plastic surgery and the will to hang on to the spotlight! If it wasn't for that desperation, for that drive to be an A-lister again, who knows what Tara would have shown us instead of that much hotness? Wild guess, anyone?
