It looks like Sprint and Kyocera are now pushing a new software update for the affordable Kyocera Rise Android smartphones.

Although it does not bring any new features, this small update addresses some of the issues discovered by users and developers, and adds some improvements as well.

According to the official changelog, software update 1.011sp adds some Qchat enhancements and addresses reported Bluetooth connectivity issues.

In addition, the update is supposed to fix a problem with the Camera Gallery app that crashes when users attempt to edit pictures.

Overlap when signing into Gmail bug has been fixed as well, along with an issue that did not allow users to pull down status bar during a call.

Keep in mind that this update is pushed OTA (over the air) in waves, so it may take some time to reach all Kyocera Rise devices.
