Kyocera KX12 from Alltel

Alltel operator started to offer the Kyocera KX12 cell phone, designed for Touch2Talk customers.

Touch2Talk is the walkie-talkie mode with real-time
info on your contact's availability and also includes a group calling facility for personal and business activities. The phone has been built for durability in hard environments, it has dust/water resistance, it is scratch-resistant, and features protective rubber over-molding.

KX12 weighs 131 grams and measures 110 mm x 50 mm x 26 mm. Its high capacity battery enables about 6.9 hours of talking and up to 220 hours in standby mode.

In addition, Kyocera KX12 can be used as a flashlight, and features voice dialing. Users can access the Internet through the BREW 2.1 application. Standard utilities include calendar, calculator, alarm clock, stopwatch, tip calculator, countdown timer and world clock.

Kyocera KX12 can be acquired for US $39.99 (after a $50 rebate), with a 2-year service agreement.
