Kyocera Wireless has announced its Bluetooth Music Gateway for enhanced mobile music portability to entertainment systems. The compact and easy-to-use device can be quite a useful toy for the music enthusiasts out there that don't enjoy their mobile phones' sound limitations.

The user can plug the Bluetooth Music Gateway into any entertainment system via a standard RCA cable and transform mobile phones or portable media players into a remote control for favorite digital music files. Moreover, phones including Bluetooth with A2DP profile will also enable the transmission of music from the phone to play on a home or office stereo system, aside from being used to control music and volume.

The device also features a 3.5 mm headset jack for those that prefer storing music on an MP3 player, adding Bluetooth capabilities and ensuring the same full-room experience. In the case that users don't want noise in the room, the Bluetooth Music Gatweay can also allow the transfer of sound from any entertainment system to a Bluetooth stereo headset.

"Mobile music has certainly begun making the transition to cell phones, but many people still view MP3 players as their central mobile music devices," said Tom Maguire, vice president of global marketing and product planning, Kyocera Wireless Corp. "Our new Bluetooth Music Gateway is the perfect solution to bridge handsets, music players, speakers and headsets so users can enjoy their personal music collections across different devices - at home, in the office or on the move."

The black and metallic gray device measures 87mm x 74mm x 20mm, weighs under 3 ounces and comes with standard RCA connector cables that are compatible with most entertainment systems and devices. It's available with a price tag of $79.99 for the standard version or $99.99 bundled with the Wireless Audio adapter, which would go for $34.99 if sold separately.
