14 DAY TRIAL // Fans of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars should already be getting used to the idea that they won’t be seeing Kym Johnson this fall, when season 17 premieres. The pro dancer has announced that she’s taking a break.
Much like Derek Hough before her – and many other pros who have become fixtures on the show – Kym will be using the time to work on another project, which she doesn’t seem ready to talk about just yet.
“I will be taking the next season off from DWTS USA, so that I may accept an amazing work opportunity back home in Australia. I am excited, nervous and humbled by this chance and look forward to sharing more about it with you soon,” she says, as cited by ET Online.
“I wish all the dancers and celebrities in season 17 nothing but love and success, and hope to see you all back on the dance floor for season 18,” Kym adds.
Voices online are saying Kym is probably also thinking of breaking into the movie industry.
