Well, this was unexpected. Days after announcing that Timbaland signed with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation record label, Kylie Minogue is following suit, The Telegraph informs.

For years, the pop star has been struggling to crack the US market (as in, really crack it), so this move is believed to be one more attempt at making it happen.

Useless to say, she’s teaming up with the best of the best.

“We would like to welcome Aussie singer, recording artist, songwriter, actress and designer Kylie Minogue to the Roc Nation family!” a statement from Roc Nation says.

“Minogue's US publicist confirmed that this is purely a management contract; the singer is still signed to Parlophone Records, with whom she ‘soon’ expects to release a new single. Minogue's 12th studio album has been in development for at least a year, following the worldwide tour for 2010's Aphrodite,” The Telegraph further says.

Above is the official video for one of Kylie’s most recent singles – and one of my faves as well –, “Timebomb.” Enjoy!
